In order to provide international students with quality language training courses upon their initial arrival, Mentone Girls’ Secondary College established its own English Language Centre. Our professional teaching staff provide students with high-quality academic English teaching and provide a wealth of teaching content. Physical education classes, elective courses, and diversified teaching methods such as short-distance travel programs help new students learn about the local culture. It also helps to incorporate English and their newly learnt cultural experiences into their daily lives.
Being on campus enables students to participate in school activities and enhance their interaction with future teachers. They don’t need to worry about adapting to another new environment at the end of their language course. Students transition smoothly to the curriculum and rhythm of mainstream classes after graduating from the school’s language centre.
MGSC’s ELC is available for Year 9 and Year 10 students.
Students in Year 7 and Year 8 can apply to an alternative language centre that accommodates younger students and apply to attend Mentone Girls’ Secondary College as their mainstream course.
