The focus of the evening is a small group session in form rooms with the Form Teacher followed by a social gathering. The aim of this evening is to allow parents a chance to become familiar with the College curriculum structure, programs and routines and meet some of the staff that will work closely with the Year 7 girls, and other Year 7 parents. Supper is provided by the Parents & Friends’ Association and information to join this group and details of their function is presented.
Year 10 students are trained to work through a special transition program with a small group of Year 7 students to deal with any problems they may have settling into secondary school. The program runs weekly for the first 12 weeks of the school year. It is based on a state-wide program.
